The Patrol Division

The Patrol Division is responsible for providing continuous police services to the citizens of Henry County. The Henry County Sheriff’s Office patrols all 826 square miles of the county. The office also provides law enforcement services for Orion and Cambridge by contract. In addition, the Henry County Sheriff’s Office provides assistance to the local municipalities, Illinois State Police and other outside agencies.

The patrol division is supervised by the Sheriff, Chief Deputy, a Lieutenant and three sergeants.

There are several specialized units within the Patrol Division which are used to provide full police services to the citizens of Henry County. These units include a Canine Unit, Motorcycle Patrol, Accident Investigator, Evidence Technicians, Tactical Officers, Field Training officers, and Firing Range Officers among others.

Henry County Sheriff’s Deputies are well prepared and well motivated to provide the best service to the citizens of Henry County
