Effective 11/23/2020
Due to COVID-19, all recordings need to be dropped off at the front entrance of the courthouse. All recorders office is out due to COVID symptoms and to keep everyone safe, we are restricting any contact with the public until  we can get a thorough sweep done within the office.  

Sorry for any inconveniences, but to keep everyone safe, this is the best solution. We will be taking recordings as they are dropped off.

Dear Customers,

Effective immediately, due to the recent events, the Henry County Courthouse will be operating by “Appointment Only” until further notice.  However, you will still be able to utilize several of our services online.  Some of those services would be E-recordings, land searches, vital records requests to just name a few.  Please check my website for all available online services.  If you do not have the means to use online services please contact my offices at the following numbers to schedule an appointment:

My staff and I will do our best to accommodate you to allow for you to come in and do any work within the office.  If you are scheduling time to come into the Recorder’s Office for land record searches and need to extend your search in the Henry County Assessor’s Office or the Henry County Treasurer’s Office, you will only need to make an appointment with the Recorder’s Office and we will notify the other two offices of you coming so you are able to search within their offices also.  We are limiting the appointments in 2 hour increments at which time you will be asked to leave so we can do a thorough cleaning of the office for the next scheduled appointments.  The appointments will start at 8:00 a.m. and conclude at 4:00 p.m.  This is only for land record purposes.  If you need any other services they provide you will need to contact their individual offices.  They can be reached at the following numbers:
