Highway Facts and History
The Henry County Highway Department is responsible for the construction and maintenance of all the bridges and roads in the Henry County Highway System. In addition to constructing and maintaining the 170 miles of roads and 595 drainage structures on the County Highway System, the department assists the 24 townships of Henry County in the construction and maintenance of their 1,046 miles of highways and 162 bridges.
