Wanted: Public Defender Office Assistant

The Henry County Public Defender’s Office will accept applications for a full-time Office Assistant/Legal Secretary until October 7, 2022. Work hours are 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. Benefits include health, dental and vision insurance, as well as paid holidays and vacation, and participation in the Illinois Municipal Retirement Fund. Strong communication, organizational, typing and computer skills are required. Applicants must be able to pass a background check and have a high school diploma or equivalent degree.
