5.                     Member Kippy Cauwels moved to approve the Agenda of the              January 10, 2006 County Board meeting and amend it by adding Item 5-D:  to hold over until the February 2006 meeting the appointment of Mr. David DeSmith to the Atkinson Fire Protection District to complete the un-expired term of Mr. Reuben DeSmith for a term to expire April 30, 2007; and adding under Item 7: Old Business: A.

Marvin Gradert.  Member Tom Steele seconded the motion.

6.                     Member Pat Ripperger moved to accept and place on file the minutes of the December 13, 2005 County Board meeting with the following corrections:   paragraph 39 – Wage Increase to all Courthouse Union Employees; paragraph 21 –            Debra Doss, Circuit Clerk, gave an explanation on Resolutions; and paragraph 26 – Member Jesse Crouch reported the average number of inmates to be 32 to be reviewed at the February meeting.  Member Ron Salisbury seconded the motion.

7.                     Member James Eccher moved to accept and place on file the reports of the Bi-State Regional Commission, Health Department Activity reports, County Clerk/Recorder monthly and annual fee reports, Veterans Assistance Commission, Economic Development Partnership, Housing Authority reports, and the Emergency Telephone System Board.  Member Pat Ripperger seconded the motion.

8.                     Member James Eccher moved to confirm the appointment of                       Mr. Jerry Thompson, County Board Member, to the Resource Conservation and Development Council for a term from January 1, 2006 to December 31, 2008.  Member Stephen Strohmeyer seconded the motion.

9.                     Member Ron Salisbury moved to hold over until the February 14, 2006 County Board meeting the appointment of DDS Doug Tomlinson to the Henry County Health Board to complete the un-expired term of DDS George Oliver for a term to expire June 1, 2007.  Member Ann DeSmith seconded the motion.

10.                   Member Jesse Crouch moved to hold over until the February 14, 2006 County Board meeting the reappointment of Ms. Linda Hollister to the Geneseo Fire Protection District for a term from May 1, 2006 to April 30, 2009.  Member Rick Livesay seconded the motion.

11.                   Member Stephen Strohmeyer moved to hold over until the February 14, 2006 County Board meeting the appointment of Mr. David DeSmith to the Atkinson Fire Protection District to complete the un-expired term of Mr. Reuben DeSmith for a term to expire April 30, 2007.  Member Jerry Thompson seconded the motion.

28.                   Member Jesse Crouch reported the raises and retro-pay for all the Courthouse Union Employees was a little over $22,000.
