GRACE
PERIOD VOTING
“Grace
Period” Voting is an extension of the period of time for a voter to
register to vote, or to update their registration information. The
elector must have lived in the precinct for 30 days.
In order
to qualify as a “Grace Period Voter”, you must first register to vote or
update your registration information, then after doing so, you must then
cast a “Grace Period” ballot at the time of registration. This can only
be done in the Henry County Clerk’s Office.
For the
February 2, 2010, General Primary Election, Grace Period voting will be
conducted at the Henry County Courthouse
in the
office of Barbara M. Link, Henry County Election Authority.
Grace Period voting begins on Wednesday, January 6, 2010
and ends on Tuesday, January 26, 2010.
Hours for
Grace Period voting are 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. Monday thru Friday
The courthouse will be closed on Monday, January 18th in
observance of
Martin Luther King Jr. Day.
