General Election Dates

February 22, 2008 – First day for grace period voting

During this period an unregistered qualified elector may register to vote as long as they have lived in the precinct for 30 days.

A registered voter may submit a change of address during this period also.

In both of these cases each shall be done in the Henry County Clerk’s Office and in both cases each must vote in the Henry County Clerk’s Office at this time.

February 22, 2008 – First day to vote in person at the respective City Clerk’s Office

February 22, 2008 – First day for early voting at the Henry County Clerk’s Office

February 25, 2008 – Last day for grace period voting

March 3, 2008 – Last day for early voting

March 3, 2008 – Last day to apply for an absentee ballot by mail and also the last day for the County Clerk’s Office to mail out absentee ballots

March 7, 2008 – Last day to vote in person at the County Clerk’s Office and also at the respective City Clerk’s Offices
