ABSENTEE VOTING INFORMATION
Absentee voting for the upcoming March 20th,
2012, General Primary Election will be conducted in the Henry County
Clerk’s Office in Cambridge, Illinois.
Hours for absentee voting are Monday through Friday from
8:00 A.M. – 4:30 P.M.
The first day to apply for an absentee ballot or to
absentee vote is February 9th, 2012. The last day to accept
applications for absentee ballots through the mail is Thursday, March 15th,
2012, and the last day for in person absentee voting in the Office of
the County Clerk is Monday, March 19th, 2012.
A voter may now request an absentee ballot without
specifying a reason for their absence on Election Day. Any elector may
by mail, or by personal delivery, make an application to the County
Clerk for an official ballot for the voter’s precinct to be voted at
such election.
Absentee ballot applications may be obtained from the
County Clerk’s Office or at the Henry County Clerk/Recorder’s website at
www.henrycty.com.
