Admission Information
Hillcrest Home is centrally located in Henry County on
Route 82, between Cambridge and Geneseo. We are a not-for-profit nursing
home that is owned and operated by Henry County. We provide
around-the-clock nursing care for people who need assistance caring for
themselves. The employees of Hillcrest Home have always been known for
their excellence in the care of our residents. Employees who work at
Hillcrest Home are committed to helping residents return to their
highest level of functioning. We believe that quality care goes far
beyond medical treatment. We are committed to serving the total needs of
each of our residents: medical, recreational, spiritual, personal and
social.
Our Physical Therapy Department has been very successful in providing
services that help our residents become more independent within the
nursing home setting, and the therapy staff excel in providing therapy
for our short-term residents who want to return to their homes.
Hillcrest has 106 Skilled semi-private beds, and
we are licensed for Medicare, Medicaid, Hospice, Respite Care
and Veteran's Assistance. Current Private Pay rates (as of
04/01/07) for skilled nursing care is $95.00 per day. For additional

Hillcrest is divided into four main sections called the
"Annex", and this area is monitored by two separate nurse's stations.
Each hallway has a shower room equipped with a handicapped assessable
bathtub and/or shower.
The Annex is built around a landscaped courtyard with a
shelter for summertime enjoyment. There is also a screen house on the
front lawn with charcoal grills nearby. Families are welcome to reserve
the screen house for picnics, birthday celebrations, and family reunions.
The Family Room in the lower level may also be reserved for special
occasions.
Program Goals:
The goal for Hillcrest Home is to return each
resident to his/her highest level of function. Individual programs are
tailored to include goals that will ensure appropriate functional skills
can be identified, learned and reinforced. The program provides a
therapeutic program that meets the highest standard of quality in a cost
effective and value-added manner. Hillcrest Home's program meets federal
and state regulations as well as the requirements of most third party
payers.
