Our mission is to stimulate economic
growth in Henry County by sustaining and encouraging growth of existing businesses
and to attract new businesses.
The
Henry County Economic Development Partnership (HCEDP) is a cooperative, not-for-profit
organization made up of individuals from the public and private sector.
The partnership works in conjunction with the following regional
agencies:
Quad City Development Group (QCDG).
Bi-State Regional Commission
Illinois Department of
Commerce.
Rural Revolving
Load Fund
Henry County Tourism
The membership to the Partnership is open to any public or private
organization or individual interested in the economic development of
Henry County. There are a total of
14 directors, of
which 2 shall be elected officials of Henry County, 5 shall be elected
or appointed officials of municipal government and 7 shall be from the
private sector. No municipality may be represented by more than 1
Director and no community will have more than 4 Directors.

MEETINGS: Monthly meetings are
open to the public and are held at the Henry County Courthouse, third
floor County Board Room, starting at 6:00 p.m.. Below is the tentative 2005
