ASSUMED NAMES

Businesses operating in Henry County must file an Assumed Name. The Assumed Name Certificate must be completed, signed in front of a Notary, and returned to this office along with a filing fee of $5.00.  

Notice of the filing should be published in a Henry County newspaper once a week for three consecutive weeks.  A list of the newspapers is provided below.

When you receive the Publisher’s Certificate of Proof of Publication, please mail it to this office.

 The filing is complete when this office has both documents.
