The Information Services Department is an internal service department. IS provides a widerange of computer related services to Henry County Government Departments.

Some of the services offered are:

• Providing technical expertise and support of all technology products and services

• Building of custom computers

• Trouble shooting hardware, software and data wiring systems

• Network wiring

• Repairing hardware

• Purchasing hardware and software for County Departments

• Performing daily system backup services

• Providing off-site back up storage

• Planning long range technology goals and activities

• Assisting other county departments and offices to assure the value of their technology investments

• Providing a secure environment for the County's information resources and data

• Assisting in the sharing of information among departments and the public

• Encouraging uniformity in county business processes and services

• General software training for County Employees and Elected Officials
