FACTS & DATA
www.factfinder.census.gov - Your source for population, housing, economic and geographic data.
www.illinoisatlas.com - IllinoisAtlas.com is an ongoing project of the Data & Mapping Services Division of the Regional Development Institute at Northern Illinois University. The Data & Mapping Services Division has been creating computer generated maps since the early 1900's. Rather than maintaining these maps in digital archives alone, they felt that it would be more useful to the public if they made these maps available on the internet. They believed that the maps would be particularly valuable to education and the business community while, at the same time, allow themselves a means of communicating their services to potential clients.
