Consolidated Election Dates

February 7, 2013 – Last day to file a notarized Declaration of Intent to be a write-in candidate

February 28, 2013 – First day to make application by mail or in person for an absentee ballot

March 12, 2013 – Last day to register to vote or change address

March 13, 2013 – First day for grace period voting

• During this period an unregistered qualified elector may register to vote as long as they have lived in the precinct for 30 days.
• A registered voter may submit a change of address during this period also.
• In both of these cases each shall be done in the Henry County Clerk’s Office and in both cases each must vote in the Henry County Clerk’s Office at this time.

March 18, 2013 – First day to vote in person at the respective City Clerk’s Office

March 25, 2013 – First day for early voting at the Henry County Clerk’s Office

April 4, 2013 – Last day to apply for an absentee ballot by mail and also the last day for the County Clerk’s Office to mail out absentee ballots

April 6, 2013 – Last day for grace period voting

April 6, 2013 – Last day for early voting

April 8, 2013 – Last day to vote in person at the County Clerk’s Office and also at the respective City Clerk’s Offices
