 During the past decade we have seen growth in the area of renewable energy.  The county now has two ethanol plants in operation since 2006.  And our first wind farm is in the planning stages and will break ground for 133 turbines in the spring of 2011.

 As we head into a new decade the members of the county board along with the county employees will continue to look for ways to improve revenue, focus on operating efficiently, and strive to provide quality services with a high return for your tax dollars.

 We will focus on enhancing the “Three E’s” of Education, which supports Employment, which in turn drives Economic Development.
